Nurturing the Spirit: Awakening Your Soul Essence is an invitation to step out of the noise of everyday life and return to the deeper truth of who you are. It's an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner world.

Over the weekend, you’ll explore the timeless teaching to "know thyself"—discovering, through Edgar Cayce’s wisdom and other spiritual traditions, how balance between body, mind, and soul awakens clarity, vitality, and inner greatness. You’ll learn how energy, frequency, and vibration influence your well-being, and experience this understanding directly through deeply a restorative sound bath immersion that will calm the nervous system and realign your inner state.

Through guided practices and reflection, you’ll also uncover how the mind truly becomes the builder of your life—transforming perception through gratitude, forgiveness, and emotional awareness. You’ll also journey through the body’s spiritual centers, and most importantly, learn what it feels like to live from your soul essence—especially during challenging moments—so you can respond to life with wisdom, presence, and authenticity rather than old habits. Come as you are, leave grounded, inspired, and reconnected to the quiet power within that has been waiting to be remembered & awakened.

This promises to be an enlightening but also creative and fun weekend!

RETREAT LECTURE SCHEDULE:

Friday Evening: Hyland Hall

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm CT   Know Thyself: Understanding Our Triune (3-D) Nature

Anthony guides us through an exploration of Edgar Cayce’s teachings and other wisdom traditions, offering a deeper understanding of our nature as body, mind, and soul. Through this journey, he empowers us with the knowledge to bring these three aspects into balance, so we can awaken to our inner greatness.

Saturday: Hyland Hall

9:00 am - 12:00 pm CT   Mind Is the Builder

Edgar Cayce said, “Spirit is the life, mind is the builder, and the physical is the result.” In this presentation, Anthony will explore how nurturing the spiritual self—and recognizing the presence of spirit in the world around us—requires mental mastery. We will learn how practices such as gratitude, forgiveness, and emotional awareness can transform our mindset and guide us toward spiritual awakening.

12: 00 pm - 2:00 pm Lunch - Connor University Center Room 275

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm CT   The Energetic Body, Our Spiritual Centers, & Balancing Sound Bath

This session takes us on a journey through the chakras, or what Cayce called the body’s spiritual centers. We will explore how these centers relate to the path of spiritual awakening and develop a deeper understanding of what they are, how to recognize when they are out of balance, and the many ways they can be aligned through the Cayce readings and other spiritual traditions. The session will also include an experiential sound bath meditation designed to help align and balance all seven centers, so participants leave feeling more centered, refreshed, and restored.

6:30 pm - 8:30 pm CT  Buffet Dinner / Lecture at Connor University Center Room 275

7:30 pm -8:30 pm CT  Expanding Our Consciousness to Our True Spiritual Essence

During this session, Anthony will guide us towards exploring the highest spiritual ideal one can attain. For, Cayce says, "there is an awareness within each soul, imprinted in pattern on the mind that is just waiting to be awakened by the will." However, it is not always easy. It is said, "narrow is the way." But thankfully we have a example and Elder Brother who was the Wayshower.

Sunday Morning:

7 am - 9am Breakfast - Pulliam Residence Hall

9:45 am - Noon CT  Hyland Hall

In this session, we will explore through direct experience what it feels like to move through life’s challenges from our spiritual center rather than from fear, habit, or ego. Anthony will guide us through a meditation designed to help us recognize when we are living from our soul essence and when we are operating from the egoic, or lower, self.
